Product description

This is Emprum's custom designed USB cable for use with Emprum's UltiMate GPS accessory.
The cable is compliant with the USB 1.x and 2.x standard.
The cable is terminated on one end with a male USB-A connector (which can plug e.g. into your computer, car charger, AC charger, etc). The other end is terminated with a male micro USB-B connector with quick-release button for easy connecting/disconnecting of on-the-go devices.
The length of the cable is 4ft (1.2m).
This cable was specifically designed and manufactured for use with Emprum's UltiMate GPS accessory.
Unlike many other USB cables, this cable allows for a 2.1 charging current (e.g. as required by an iPad) while maintaining USB voltage standards. As such it will properly charge all iPod touch, iPhone and iPad models currently on the market.

Applications

This cable was designed for use with Emprum's UltiMate GPS accessory and allows you to charge and sync your iPod touch, iPhone and iPad while the UltiMate GPS accessory is plugged in (either at home or on the road).
This cable allows you to connect Emprum's UltiMate GPS accessory directly to your laptop or desktop computer for standalone use (no iPod touch, iPhone or iPad required).
This cable can also be used as a high quality stand-alone or replacement cable for all your USB applications.
